Web hosting and proxy systems may create ordinary request logs containing details such as the requested URL, time, browser or user-agent information, referrer, and network address. LearnSousVide loads its Umami tracker through the same-origin /a/ path, which the server forwards to the self-hosted analytics service at glaive.dev, to measure aggregate page use. The tracker records page and device context such as the page URL and title, referrer, browser language, screen size, and website identifier. The site may also record limited interaction events such as the selected food guide; it does not submit contact details to analytics.

Temperature unit, preparation state, and light or dark theme choices are stored in your browser's local storage under a LearnSousVide preference key. These settings support the interface on your device; they are not attached to an account. Clear this site's browser data to remove them.

The current LearnSousVide application does not set its own cookies, offer visitor accounts, accept payments, or publish a web contact form. Its analytics tracker operates without analytics cookies. Current public pages do not display advertising or affiliate-tracked shopping links.

If you email the site, the message, address, and any information you include travel through your email provider and the recipient's provider. Public pages load current illustrations from cdn.learnsousvide.com. The analytics host, image host, and outside references such as government food-safety sites handle requests under their own policies. LearnSousVide does not currently publish a fixed retention period for analytics or ordinary request logs; use the contact below for current retention or deletion questions.
