Ingredients
- •2 lbs bulgogi beef (prepared using classic recipe above)
- •2 heads butter lettuce or red leaf lettuce, leaves separated
- •½ cup ssamjang (Korean spicy dipping sauce)
- •4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- •6 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- •2 fresh jalapeños, sliced
- •1 cup perilla leaves (optional)
- •1 cup fresh cilantro
- •1 cup kimchi
- •Steamed white rice

Prepare bulgogi using classic recipe

While beef cooks, prepare lettuce wraps station

Wash and dry lettuce leaves, arrange on a large platter

Place ssamjang, sliced garlic, green onions, jalapeños, perilla leaves, and cilantro in small bowls

When bulgogi is seared and ready, transfer to serving platter

To assemble wraps, place lettuce leaf on palm

Add small amount of rice, bulgogi, and desired toppings

Drizzle with ssamjang

Fold lettuce and eat immediately
Notes
- •Perilla leaves add authentic Korean flavor - seek them out at Korean markets
- •Raw garlic is traditional and adds a spicy bite
- •Ssamjang can be found at Asian markets or make your own with doenjang and gochujang
